Yusuf is a British aviation engineer and entrepreneur with a decade of experience at the intersection of aviation operations, aviation law, MRO, software and AI solutions. He completed private pilot studies in 2017.
His background spans the operational, legal-commercial and military dimensions of aviation — a combination that is unusually rare, and that informs every engagement Zii Air undertakes.
Based between London and Dubai, he brings direct market access to the UK, GCC & MENA, with a network extending across aircraft operators, MRO facilities, regulatory bodies and UHNW principals and family offices.
Dr. Alhashmi is a distinguished Emirati expert in International Air and Space Law, holding an Advanced LL.M. from Leiden University, Netherlands — completed under rigorous academic and scientific methodology.
With a career spanning more than three decades across civil and military aviation — leading in safety management, sovereign contracts, dispute resolution and international arbitration.
He is the author of International Air and Space Law: Historical Evolution and Contemporary Challenges — dedicated to the United Arab Emirates, its leadership, and its pioneers in aviation and space.
